Your Gateway to Collaboration with Policymakers and Funding Organizations

For Policymakers and Funding Organizations

Policymakers and funding organizations create the framework conditions that enable medical innovations to reach healthcare more quickly, safely, and effectively. Fraunhofer IMTE supports this translation through application-oriented research, advanced technological infrastructure, and regulatory expertise – from the earliest concept to validated solutions. Together, we develop projects, funding programs, and strategic initiatives that address key healthcare challenges and generate measurable societal impact.

Success Stories

GRANNI – Medical Technology for Healthy and Resilient Ageing

GRANNI demonstrates how publicly funded translational research can address the key challenges of an ageing society. Together with partners from academia, healthcare, industry, and society, we develop medical technologies that reduce the burden on healthcare systems, harness the potential of digitalization, and support ageing with dignity and independence.
